Sailing Yacht and Sailing Regatta Prints

This highly detailed painting was inspired by the beauty and power of the 4 remaining J-Boats. Shamrock V, Endeavour, Ranger, and Velsheda. The pure power and command of the sea that decribes the J Boat is something that I continually felt while at the easel painting. The J Class was adopted for America's Cup competition in 1928 in preparation for the next regatta in 1930. The Class itself, dated back to the turn of the century when the champions of industry and wealth built their dream vessels.
